We look forward to the day when we can welcome visitors at Jo’burg Child Welfare (JCW) centres again. Despite Covid-19 restrictions easing to Level 1, JCW facilities are still in lockdown and volunteer programmes remain on hold until further notice.

Unfortunately, the lockdown has dealt a blinding blow to both South Africa’s economy and to JCW’s fundraising efforts. I am distressed to tell you that it has placed JCW in the grip of a severe funding crisis.

There is a very real possibility that we will have to shut some of our services and facilities. This will be devastating to orphaned and vulnerable children – and I need your urgent support to keep our doors open.

So please show some love to abused, neglected and abandoned children and click here to send your gift now.

If you can’t support us with financial gifts, please try and assist with collecting nappies, second hand goods and food parcels. We are grateful to have your assistance in protecting our children.

Thank you for caring.
