Dr Clive Ntemi Mhlongo’s legacy to live on at Othandweni Child and Youth Care Centre in Soweto

On Wednesday 13 May 2015, the Executive Mayor of Johannesburg, Cllr. Mpho Parks Tau, officially opened the new Resource Centre at Othandweni Child and Youth Care Centre in Mofolo, Soweto. The renovations to the centre that is owned and managed by Jo’burg Child Welfare (JCW), were made possible through a generous donation from the Sowazi family in memory of Dr Clive Ntemi Mhlongo. Dr Clive Ntemi Mhlongo who, as part of his commitment to giving back to the community, dedicated his time to provide voluntary medical professional services to the children living at Othandweni for many years. Lyn Perry retires from her position as Director of Jo'burg Child Welfare with effect from today, 1 April 2015.
